The Liebster Award

Good morning Internets, I honestly was not going to really post today; but I had to just quickly check in to tell you how good my God is! As you all know I just started my blog this week; I am still shell-shocked. I started this blog as a way to walk out on faith; and with my small voice, it was my mission to let the world know about my big God. Well like my father always does he has shown up and showed out!

 In starting this blog I did not have a direct audience; I did not even know what I really wanted to talk about, but the Lord has been faithful in giving me the right words to say.
In the past few days during my blogging; I have been getting an overwhelming amount of support and for that, I thank each and every one of you who have taken the time to read. Little old me I am just typing away thinking that nobody was listening; I was wrong! In the past 3 days,  I have had people all the way from Germany, the United Kingdom, Australia, Nigeria, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, Spain, Italy, and the Philippines read my blog. All I can say is WOW! Lord, you deserve all the glory, all the honor, and all of the praise!

 During this journey, I am connecting with a lot of great people; I have recently been nominated for The Liebster Award. This award exists only on the internet and is given to bloggers by other bloggers. The Global Aussie defines the meaning of the German word Liebster as kind, valued, beloved, welcome. The Liebster award is a way to be discovered but, also to connect and support the blogging community. My new friend all the way from Nigeria Nita Okoye nominated me for the Liebster Award, and for that, I would like to say thank you and I accept.   •  What is your goal? - My goal is to just be as transparent as possible and let the Lord use me in my writings.
  • Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I see myself running a non-profit in the city of Fredericksburg. (still planning, and praying) 
  • If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive who would it be? I would have dinner with Zora Neale Hurston.
  • Who is your inspiration? I have no 1 inspiration at this moment. I find inspiration all over the place.
  • Would you collab with another blogger? As time goes on I am sure I will get into collaborations with other great bloggers.
  • Do you Vlog on Youtube? No, I do not but I am to it.

It is also my job to nominate 10 other blogs for The Liebster award- I will eventually do so there are so many great people other there just like me who are using their blog to reach others and share the goodness of the Lord; I will nominate someone one day. Well again I just stopped by to say hello, and to just encourage you even when you think no one is listening ... they are. Have you ever been in a place where you feel like you have been pulled every which way? Everyone connected to you just needs something; you look at your phone there’s a text “hey can you do me a favor?”, answer your phone “I need help”, reading your email “can you meet this deadline for this special project?” from home to work; and everything in between is pulling you in different directions. It is so easy to say yes, I understand you don’t want to let anyone down, or offend anyone so you give a yes as an autopiloted response. Don’t Be That Person

Have you ever had a friend that was not excited about your success? This friend is fine when you are on the same level, but the moment you get a little bit ahead there becomes tension? Do you notice everyone else clapping but them? Maybe it was a big promotion or a major raise.
